Dr. Lisa Merlo Greene elected to the UFCOM Society of Teaching Scholars (STS)

Dr. Lisa Merlo elected to COM Society of Teaching Scholars

The Education Division is proud to announce that Dr. Lisa Merlo Greene has been elected to the UFCOM Society of Teaching Scholars (STS). The STS was formed in 2000 as a forum to recognize and reward some of the COM’s best teachers, to honor and foster teaching and educational scholarship, to enhance the COM’s educational mission, and to serve as mentors and role models to junior faculty, residents, and students. There was a rigorous application, review, and selection process that included the submission of an extensive educational portfolio. Dr. Merlo Greene will receive an honorarium to attend educational conferences or other educational endeavors of her choosing as part of her induction into the STS. Please join me in congratulating one of our outstanding teachers, Dr. Lisa Merlo Greene, for her receipt of this prestigious honor.
