Uma Suryadevara, MD has been appointed a geriatric psychiatrist member on the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Grant Committee. The Alzheimer’s Disease Research Grant Advisory Board advises the State Surgeon General as to the direction and scope of the Ed and Ethel Moore Alzheimer’s Disease Research Program. The board consists of 11 members appointed by the State Surgeon General and her term will last 4 years.
Dr. Suryadevara is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida where she serves as Director for the Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship program based at the Malcom Randall Veterans Administration Medical Center.
