Congratulations to Marika Brigham, Director and Chief Financial Officer of the University of Florida Department of Psychiatry, who was named President -Elect of the National Association of Academic Psychiatry Administrators (NAAPA).
She will serve on the board of directors for the year 2016-2017. Part of Brigham’s responsibilities as president-elect will be to Chair the Education Committee and to develop and implement strategic goals / plan with the board.
The National Association of Academic Psychiatry Administrators is a national professional organization founded in 1985 to provide education, professional development and networking opportunities for administrators in academic settings.
NAAPA is dedicated to the improvement of mental health care delivery, education and research through professional management in departments of psychiatry which are affiliated with academic medical centers.
